Animal Collaborations with Daniel

In the first layer of this painting, Daniel wrote everything he could think of about takins on a piece of prepared wood. He took photos of the takins and we each made drawings when we visited the Lincoln Park Zoo. I then took all these elements and put them together and painted it with oils. Daniel particularly loves this animal, which is sort of a goat-antelope related to a sheep.
